The Faculty of Economics at the University ‘Goce Delchev’ in Stip will host the Third International Conference on Business, Economy And Finance (ICBEF): “Economic And Social Implications Of Covid-19, Challenges and Proposals For Overcoming” that will be held ONLINE on 28th and 29th of June 2021.
The impact of the Covid-19 crisis on the global economy is undoubtedly very profound. The overall global economic activity, the weak international financial transactions and the emerging macroeconomic environment conditions impose the question of a more detailed analysis of the challenges facing the world, as well as the policies and strategies that has to be taken for stabilization of the economy. Social distancing, isolation, as well as the restrictions imposed on basic daily human activities have led to job cuts, have increased the living costs, and reduced the resources required in various economic sectors. Due to the intensity of these restrictions and the limited mobility, a change in the social and economic behavior of many economic participants was forced.
The conference will be organized as a forum of educators, researchers and practitioners, in order to present and discuss the latest developments caused by the KOVID pandemic, economic and social impacts and consequences of this crisis, as well as issues related to the economic recovery.
