In today’s world of rapid globalization, the comprehensive education of students as well as the professional development of the academic staff are essential for the economic well-being of the individual and for economic development. The Faculty of Economics at UGD recognizes this and strives to create dynamic educational environment with focus on the domestic and international cooperation with various lines of organizations and institutions.

Cooperation with the business sector
An important component in the Faculty of Economics activity in the eastern region is its collaboration with the business sector. The faculty builds mutual relations through direct cooperation with local and national companies which is beneficial for both parties. The companies have access to the latest results from research, scientific consulting expertise, and communication with the talented graduates equipped with the needed skills and knowledge. In return, the Faculty of Economics enriches the curricula with the practical aspects of real work in the business sector, providing relevant and practical knowledge for the students. This collaboration also opens new opportunities for students to get their internship as well as their employment after graduation.

International cooperation
Within the framework of the established international partnerships, both from the Faculty of Economics and at the University level, students and employees of Goce Delcev University are enabled to participate in early programs, projects and trainings conducted at foreign universities and thus acquire significant knowledge and experience from other good practices, which they will further use in their career. In our country, UGD is the university with the largest number (over 400) of inter-institutional agreements, whereby during one academic year, the exchange of more than 300 incoming students and 50 people as teaching and administrative staff is carried out.

Erasmus+ program
The Erasmus+ program, which is a project of the European Union in the field of higher education and which enables the cooperation and exchange of students and staff between partner universities in Europe, has been successfully implemented within the framework of UDG for many years.
Students exchange program:
The program is intended for all full-time students of Goce Delcev University who have completed at least 2 semesters of their studies, have achieved solid success and have knowledge in English language. The student exchange can be carried out in one of the partner universities, the full list of which can be found here, and the study exchange can be carried out for a period of 6 or 12 months.
Within the Erasmus + program, we offer program in English language and activities for the foreign students that come as exchange students at UGD.
Staff exchange program:
The teaching staff at Goce Delcev University have opportunity through the Erasmus+ program for mobility that can be carried out on one of the foreign universities that have made cooperation agreements with UGD.
The mobility of the staff lasts one week and can be done in the form of lecturing or training.
In order to promote this program among students, UGD constantly organizes information days and meetings with the representatives from the National Agency throughout the year.
